ABOUT THE BLOG

Hello everybody, I created this page to talk about subjects that are important to me. I feel a calling to do so in today's weird and chaotic time.

I currently serve active duty in the United States Coast Guard. Before that I served 1 year as a detention officer in a jail with 2,000 inmates, 2 years as a sheriff's deputy, and 1 year as a standard police officer for a metro Atlanta agency.

I came up with the name Snide Peacekeeper because I thought it was a humorous reference to the fact that my job always seems to be a peacekeeper regardless if it is in a Jail, in a county, in a city or in the military.

I feel like my special background and experiences gives me a unique perspective on numerous subjects. I hope you all get some value out of my perspectives on things.
